The nervous system is the master controlling system of the body. It is responsible for all behaviors - indeed every thought, action, and emotion reflects its activity. And developmental features, their functions, common problems, methods of examining the systems, diagnosis, management and prevention. Identify and describe structure of the nervous system and its components. Students will learn neurophysiology and neuroanatomy.

Physiotherapists need to have a good understanding of the location and functions of organs within the human body and the pathological changes of the organ. To continue living, all aerobic organisms need continuous supply of oxygen & other nutrients to their different tissues & organs to be metabolized there. This metabolism supplies tissues with the required energy & builds up substrates as well as a wide range of waste products that may cause severe tissue damage if not directly eliminated! By using blood as a transporting tool, the cardio-vascular system (CVS) plays this bi-directional role .It delivers blood containing oxygen and nutrient substances to the tissues and delivers waste products to the organs of elimination or metabolism.

This vital role of the system is accomplished by a few hundred miles of vascular structures (arteries, capillaries and veins) and a reliable pump heart which must beat regularly for a lifetime. Respiratory system is one of the most essential components of a living organism. In humans, lungs fulfill this essential function by providing a source of oxygen for the body as well as help to rid the body of carbon dioxide. In doing so the respiratory system inhales an array of pollutants and infectious agents.

The course provides the physiotherapy students with basic nursing skills needed for care of ill patients in the different health institutions.

The analysis of human movements is based on the anatomical and mechanican principles of the human body. In this course, emphasis is given to the application of those principles to the understanding of human movement and athletic performance.

Medical terms and abbreviations are used very frequently in medicine. They boost efficiency as long as they are used intelligently. The advantages of brevity should be weighed against the possibilities of crypticness (making the communication harder for others to understand) and ambiguity (having more than one possible interpretation)this course is concerned with medical word analysis, the general structure and function of body systems, and some common pathological conditions.  Course testing assumes that the students are seeking health care professions and need to be able to both define and remember medical terms and related   abbreviations as they are utilized in the medical world.

This course introduces the physiotherapy students to the theoretical &practical basics of different massage elements, their indication and contra indications, and the psychological land emotional aspects of professional physiotherapy.
The students study the role of massage in both ports and in clinical settings.
